Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with The Pawprint Society. We hope you and your pet love your order, but if something is not right, please review our return policy below.
Return Eligibility
We accept returns on eligible U.S. orders only.
To qualify for a return, your item must be:

Unused
-
Unwashed
-
Free of stains, odors, pet hair, dirt, damage, or signs of use

Returned with original tags attached, if applicable

Returned in the original packaging, including product labels, inserts, accessories, and any protective packaging when provided
Return requests must be started within 7 days of delivery. The return window begins on the day tracking shows the order was delivered.
If your order arrives in multiple packages, the 7 day return window begins once the final package in your order has been delivered.
Approved returns must be shipped back within 7 days of return approval.
Returns sent back without approval, returns shipped outside the allowed time frame, or items that do not meet our return requirements may be declined or may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
U.S. Orders
Only U.S. orders are eligible for return services at this time.
International Orders
We do not accept returns for orders shipped outside of the United States at this time. International orders are final sale unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Nonreturnable Items
For the safety, cleanliness, and care of pets and customers, certain items are final sale and cannot be returned.
The following items are final sale:

Pet treats, food, chews, or consumable items

Grooming items, hygiene products, or wellness items

Opened, used, or washed pet products

Pet beds, blankets, mats, or soft goods that show signs of use, pet hair, odor, stains, or washing

Toys that have been opened, used, chewed, damaged, or removed from original packaging

Collars, leashes, harnesses, apparel, or accessories that have been worn, used, washed, damaged, or altered

Personalized, customized, handmade, or made-to-order items

Gift cards

Final sale items

Items marked final sale on the product page
We also cannot accept returns on items that have been damaged after delivery, altered, returned without original packaging, or returned in a condition that cannot be resold.
Collective and Partner-Sourced Items
The Pawprint Society offers products from our curated collective and fulfillment partners. Because items may come from different makers, brands, or suppliers, some products may ship separately and may have specific return requirements.
If a product has special return restrictions, those details may be listed on the product page. In the event of a conflict between the product page and this policy, the product page return terms will apply.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges at this time.
If you need a different size, color, style, or item, please place a new order and request a return for the eligible item within the return window.
How to Start a Return
To request a return, please email us at support@thepawprintsociety.com within 7 days of delivery.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Returns sent without approval may be declined.
Once your return request is reviewed, we will send instructions for where to ship your approved return.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a shipping error, damaged item, defective item, or incorrect item.
Original shipping charges, handling fees, package protection, and any return shipping costs are not refundable.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service. The Pawprint Society is not responsible for returns that are lost, delayed, damaged, or delivered to the wrong address by the shipping carrier.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at support@thepawprintsociety.com within 7 days of delivery.
Please include your order number and clear photos of the item, packaging, shipping label, and issue. We will review the claim and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Items damaged by a pet after delivery, including chewing, scratching, tearing, staining, or misuse, are not considered defective and are not eligible for return or refund.
Refunds
Once your approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow 5 to 7 business days after the returned package is received for the return to be processed. Your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
Shipping charges, handling fees, package protection, and return shipping costs are not refundable.
Orders Returned Without Meeting Policy Requirements
Items returned without approval, outside the return window, without original packaging, or in used or unsellable condition may be declined.
If a return is accepted but does not fully meet our return requirements, a 20% restocking fee may be deducted from the refund.
Order Cancellations
We process orders as quickly as possible. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled once it has been placed.
If your order has already been processed or shipped, it will need to follow our return policy.
